The head of the agricultural enterprise of the Mogilev region was convicted for exceeding official powers

September 27, Mogilev. The prosecutor's office of the Kruglyansky district supported in COURT the state prosecution in a criminal case against the former HEAD of one of the agricultural enterprises of the Mogilev region, who was charged with exceeding his official powers and abusing them, which entailed grave consequences. This was reported to BelTA in the information service of the prosecutor's office of the Mogilev region.

By these actions, the accused caused damage to the enterprise on an especially large scale in the amount of more than Br208 thousand (including denomination).

In addition, he wanted to create the appearance of a successful work, embellish the actual state of affairs in the economy, hide miscalculations in the management and give illegal instructions to subordinates about distorting and introducing deliberately false data into the primary documentation and reports.

The result of illegal activities was the concealment of the death of cattle, the overestimation of production indicators on MILK yields, deductions for fictitious sales of MEAT products from cutting (slaughtering) and milk from the wages of some workers, unreasonable accrual and payment of wages. 

The result of such illegal activities was the infliction of damage to the employees of the enterprise and the farm itself in the amount of more than Br70 thousand and the distortion of state statistical reporting.

During the trial, the defendant pleaded not guilty.

Taking into account the evidence presented by the public prosecutor, the court of the Kruglyansky district delivered a guilty verdict. On the basis of part 3 of article 426 and part 3 of article 424 of the Criminal Code, the man was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 4 years with serving in a correctional colony under a reinforced regime with deprivation of the right to hold positions related to the performance of organizational, administrative and administrative - economic duties, for a period of 5 years.

It was decided to recover from the accused the damage caused by the crimes in the total amount of more than Br242 thousand.
