Southern Dairy Union demands from "ATL" and "TIAN-Trade" refutation of information about unscrupulous dairy producers

The Southern Dairy Union sent its official appeals to the heads of LLC "TIAN-Trade" and LLC "ATL" with the demand to refute or publicly provide evidence against unfair producers and whitewash the unfairly infringed business reputation of bona fide MILK processing enterprises in RUSSIA, the Union's press-service reported.

 

 

The reason for the claims was the statement made by one of their representatives, invited by the editors of "NashPotrebNadzor" to the TV show "Pesticide Products and Cherry Nectar from Vegetables" as a technologist of milk and dairy products, microbiologist, aired on the federal Russian TV channel "NTV" on September 12 this year, in which the subject of production of processed cheese was shown. At present this TV program is available for viewing by a wide range of people on the Internet.

 

From the TV screen, the viewers were told the following: "...There goes stale, and they buy from stores and moldy cheeses, and some cheeses with mice and cockroaches running all over them, this could be it...".

 

Consumers started to turn to the Southern Dairy Union for explanations, because in the current situation they are afraid to buy products of this category produced by enterprises belonging to the Southern Dairy Union.

 

The Union noted that ATL LLC and TIAN-Trade LLC have a common beneficial owner. Their employees regularly visit dairy companies with commercial proposals on the issue of supplying their equipment and consumables.

 

"Therefore, we have listened carefully to the words of the expert and we cannot completely rule out the possibility that the facts voiced in the story could not take place," said the union. - However, we believe that such statements about the quality and composition of dairy products, in this case processed cheese, discredit the Russian dairy industry and create a negative consumer attitude towards the normal and healthy food product.

 

The Alliance is sure that a great number of dairy companies producing processed cheese are bona fide and we demand from the companies LLC "TIAN-Trade" and LLC "ATL", which made such statements about the dairy products, to refute the information, or to name the enterprises, where the facts were noticed, so this statement will not apply to other bona fide producers of food products for the population of our country.

 

"We consider that TIAN-Trade LLC and ATL LLC, combining their financial capabilities, should make at their own expense an official refutation of the information provided by them, on the same all-Russian federal TV channel "NTV" and giving the same time to this refutation. Otherwise, the Southern Dairy Union, in order to protect the dairy businesses, is considering the possibility of demanding a judicial resolution of the situation. We have already sent pre-trial claims to these legal entities, but to date there has been no reaction from them," the report says.
