July 16, Vitebsk. OAO "Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm" has proved by the results of its work that the new project of the enterprise's investment program is worthy of state support in terms of bank credit concessions. Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko said this today during a working trip to the Vitebsk region, BelTA has learned.

Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm is building a number of facilities under the investment program. Among them is broiler shop No. 3 near the village of Trigubtsy, Vitebsk region. Equipment worth more than Br4 million has already been purchased, the volume of construction and installation works - more than Br6 million. The commissioning of the first site is scheduled for this year, the second - for 2022. The pace of construction is now ahead of schedule, but may slow down, because. resources are running out.

Roman Golovchenko visited the construction site directly. "We are talking about large investments, but the expectations are very good. The company is working with a plus in all respects. The plans are very ambitious: to increase volumes from 60 thousand tons to 90 thousand tons of poultry. And to do this at a new technological level. This is important, especially taking into account the fact that new biological threats are emerging, the poultry industry is very dependent on compliance with all standards. We need to invest additional funds in security and disinfection systems," said Roman Golovchenko.

He clarified that together with other representatives of the government, he came to personally make sure that the project is worthy of the state participating in the concession of credit resources that are provided for its implementation.

“I am sure that this sector of the economy, which is important not only for the Vitebsk region, but also for the whole of Belarus, will receive state support and we will reach the results that are in the business plan,” said Roman Golovchenko.

Now the liquidity situation in the banking system is not easy, so even very attractive projects have difficulty lending large amounts. “The role of the state is precisely in granting benefits under Decree No. 347, which allows you to reimburse up to 25% of the cost of capital expenditures with budget transfers,” the prime minister explained. “We switched to this system to encourage borrowers to build faster and, most importantly, quickly reach design capacity".

A poultry slaughtering and processing plant with a capacity of 9,000 heads per hour is also being built in Trigubtsy. Equipment worth more than Br70 million was purchased, the amount of work performed is more than Br11 million. Commissioning is planned for 2022. Nearby there will be a site for slaughter and processing of cattle. And near the town of Yanovichi in the Vitebsk region, a line for drying and sorting seeds is being reconstructed.

The production facilities of the investment program of the poultry farm are included in the state program "Agricultural Business" for 2021-2025. In addition to the facilities listed above, under this program, it is planned to reconstruct the poultry slaughter and processing shop No. 2 for a finished products shop (implementation period - 2022), reconstruction of the feed production (2022-2024), construction of the ITC "Kurino" for 1440 heads (2024-2025 years). The total investment for all facilities reaches almost Br431.27 million.
