Grain harvest and MILK yield - twice the national average - the result of the work of the leading enterprise

The team of the SPK "Svityazyanka-2003" of the Korelichi district of the Grodno region was recently entered on the Republican Board of Honor - for the sixth time in the last 10 years! We don't know of any others. How to get to the top of the labor, they learned after visiting the farm.

Tradition, professionalism and technology

What is the secret of the team's success?

- There are no secrets, but there are many components of the effective work of the enterprise, - Alexander Metelitsa, chairman of the SEC "Svityazyanka-2003", answers our question, and recalculates a number of important competitive advantages.

First, it is the historically strong tradition of managerial management that has laid the foundation for current success. Secondly, the high professionalism of personnel, their competent selection. Thirdly, compliance with agricultural technologies during spring field work, crop care, harvesting, sowing winter crops, as well as concern for the genetic potential of cattle , competent care for it, timely feeding, and a balanced diet.

The HEAD clarified that the last competitive advantage the company has gained due to the presence of the first two.

The farm specializes in the production of milk, MEAT, grain, SUGAR beets and fodder crops. The share of livestock products in the structure of the company's commercial products is 77.1%, of which milk - 65.8%, cattle meat - 11.2%, crop products - 22.2%.

– At the heart of the activities of the SPK, – Alexander Alexandrovich further noted, – is a development strategy aimed at modernizing production, introducing new equipment and measures to transfer agricultural production to intensive technologies, increase its volume and quality, production and sale.

The result, as they say, is obvious. In 2022, the company achieved the best results in the history of its activities in such significant positions as grain yield, milk yield per cow and cattle weight gain.

For example, last year the grain yield on the farm was 2 times higher than the national average. Here, 70.3 centners/ha were harvested from each hectare, while the average for Belarus is 34.5 centners/ha. Similarly, with milk yields. In 2022, one SPK cow gave an average of 11.268 thousand kg, while the national average is just over 6 thousand kg. And in terms of cattle weight gain, the picture is not bad: the average daily is 830 g.

Milk bet

The success of modern animal husbandry in Belarus has been achieved largely due to modern technologies that are actively introduced by domestic agricultural enterprises, as well as the construction of modern ITCs.

Among the latest renovated facilities of Svityazyanka-2003 is the reconstructed dairy farm Litarovshchina, where the dairy herd has grown by 400 heads. By the way, cows in "Litarovshchina" are milked by robots. In addition, two dairy farms have been built: MTC "Raitsa-2" (for 777 dairy cows) and MTC "Raitsa-1" (for 610 dairy cows). New housing and milking technologies are a good stimulus for the growth of the dairy industry.

The year 2022 at the SPK "Svityazyanka-2003" was also marked by the reconstruction, modernization and technical re-equipment of buildings and structures of livestock facilities. More than 977 million rubles were allocated for these purposes, including funds from the enterprise.

The number of cattle of the enterprise at the beginning of this year amounted to 5.927 thousand heads, including cows - 1.9 thousand. The density of cattle per 100 hectares of agricultural land is 95 heads, including 31 cows. The entire herd of cattle is kept at two dairy complexes, two farms and two farms for growing young cattle. The quality of products has been brought everywhere, one might say, almost to perfection. Marketability of milk according to the results of work for 2022 amounted to 94.4%. Extra variety sold 99.4%. 21.196 thousand tons of milk and 1.242 tons of meat were produced.

– Our livestock breeders are reinforcing the high results of the work of 2022 by hard work this year. The team continues to look for new reserves for increasing the quality and quantity of products, - emphasizes the head of the SEC. - The economy pays constant attention to the efficiency of the use of land, machinery, fixed and working capital, increasing the productivity and profitability of agricultural products.

Increase the yield of a hectare

Concern about increasing the yield of each hectare of agricultural land underlies the activities of two production units of the SEC engaged in crop production.

SPK "Svityazyanka-2003" is located on a compact array with a total land fund of 7.479 thousand hectares, of which 6.212 thousand hectares are agricultural land, including arable land - 4905 hectares. Farmers do not complain about the fertility of the soil: its cadastral value is 40.8 points, agricultural land - 37.4 points, the lands are mostly medium loamy, sandy loamy, there are swampy ones - on loamy and sandy loam.

The adoption of competent management decisions, compliance with agricultural technologies, the availability of a fleet of modern equipment ensured the growth of the gross output of the enterprise in crop production. In 2022, 16.311 thousand tons of grain were grown on the fields of the farm, a significant part - after the delivery of the state order - went for fodder purposes.

27.836 thousand tons of fodder was harvested, including 15.272 thousand tons of grasses. On the conditional head of cattle accounted for 62.9 qn. k. units, including herbal - 35.0 cn. units As a result, the yield of fodder units from 1 ha of agricultural land is 91.4 centners per unit, arable land is 107.0 centners per unit.

In addition, in 2022, 25.533 thousand tons of sugar beets were grown in the production cooperative (yield of 701 c/ha),

2.218 thousand tons of rapeseed (yield 37.6 q/ha). With the yield of sugar beet 701 c/ha, rapeseed 37.6 c/ha.

Here they are, the performance indicators of the leading enterprise, where the real owners of the land work!

We allocate housing for those who come to the first workplace in Svityazyanka. How not to work in such a farm as the SPK "Svityazyanka-2003", a person who decided to connect his life with work on the ground?! - Alexander Metelitsa asks a rhetorical question and, smiling himself, answers: - Come, roll up your sleeves and work!

How it was

The history of the SPK "Svityazyanka-2003" began in 1948-1949. Then individual peasants began to unite into collective farms, whose lands later became part of the current APC.

In the agricultural organization, their leaders are well known, under whose management the agrarian economy of the Svityazyanka lands was raised in previous years. Among them are Grigory Duben, chairman of the First of May collective farm, the first point of collectivization of these places, Nikolai Sak, chairman of the Path to Communism collective farm with a center in the village of Raitsa, where the current SEC administration building is located, Mikhail Flute, head of the Gastello collective farm. It was this collective farm that gave the name to the agricultural artel, which united seven collective farms in 1952. Further, the enlarged team from year to year reached new labor peaks, where they were led by new managers. The names of all ten chairmen are forever included in the history of this organization.

Today, with special gratitude, the Svityazyanka and Alexander Metelitsa himself, who came to the Gastello collective farm as a young agronomist, remember Vladimir Golovach, who, over 20 years of work, brought Svityazyanka into the ranks of strong advanced farms. Alexander Metelitsa, who replaced him in office, turned out to be a worthy successor.
