In the first half of June, the raw milk market is stable

The stabilization of the weather finally gave an increase in the volume of milk supply, grain prices rolled back, and the strengthening of the hryvnia reduced EXPORT appetites. – PioneerProduct

All these factors contributed to maintaining the price balance in the raw materials market in the first half of June, therefore, the main contracts for both agricultural enterprises and the population remained in the same ranges.

The price levels of raw milk from agricultural enterprises in mid-June are 10.00-11.90 UAH/kg at a rate of 14% VAT (9.00-10.40 excluding VAT). The cost of milk produced in the households of the population, depending on the region, is in the range of 5.90-7.15 UAH / kg without VAT, and the average price in this category is estimated at 6.50 UAH / kg.

Milk on the spot, depending on the quality, is estimated without delivery from 11.5 to 12.5 UAH/kg with 20% VAT (on average, about 10.0 UAH/kg without VAT), i.е. strives for the price level of milk of agricultural enterprises of the highest and extra grades.

Grain prices in Ukraine are declining, so in June we should expect an improvement in the operating profitability of milk production by agricultural enterprises. Until the end of the month, we expect stability in the Ukrainian market of raw milk.
