February 15, MINSK. Due to what it was possible to increase the EXPORT of products, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Vadim Shagoiko said, BelTA has learned.

"The increase in the export of Belarusian agricultural products compared to 2021 occurred both due to the market situation that is developing well in our favor - rising prices, and due to an increase in volume indicators for certain types of products. On average, prices increased by more than 30% for dairy products and by almost 30% - for MEAT," said Vadim Shagoiko.

The structure of deliveries has changed towards the export of high-margin products. "We began to sell more sausages, canned meat and processed products. The supply of meat - carcasses and half carcasses decreased slightly, but here we won precisely in the growth of average prices for supplies," the deputy minister emphasized.

According to him, the decrease in the supply of dairy products was due to the redirection of raw materials for the production of high-margin products. “Thus, we significantly increased the export of butter and cheeses. At the same time, there is a decrease in MILK, cream and sour cream in consumer packaging, which initially had a lower margin,” Vadim Shagoiko summed up.
