July 11, MINSK. Prices for beets and cabbage rose in June, while cucumbers and tomatoes fell in price, BelTA informs citing data from the National Statistical Committee.

Cabbage went up by 50.01%, beets - 67.09%, potatoes - 45.51%, carrots - 29.46%, onions - 16.96%, grapes - 7.01%, pears - 3.53% , citrus fruits - 2.16%. Cucumbers became cheaper by 44.03%, tomatoes - 19.6%, bananas - 14.68%, peppers - 13.95%, garlic - 8.98%, apples - 8.61%.

In general, vegetables became more expensive by 0.88%, fruits fell by 5.02%. MEAT and meat products became more expensive by 0.4%, fish and fish products - by 0.68%, bread and bakery products - by 1.79%, MILK and dairy products - by 0.11%.

Lunches in the canteen became more expensive by 4.8%. In restaurants and cafes, they rose in price by 2.03%, fast food - by 1.52%.

Tobacco products fell in price by 0.06%. Alcoholic beverages rose in price by 0.08%.

Non-food products in June became more expensive by 0.68%. Clothes went up by 0.26%, shoes - 0.25%, furniture - 0.05%, carpets - 5.8%, textiles - 0.35%, building materials - 1.33%, medicines - 0.21 %.

The cost of services increased by 0.9%. In June, the repair of washing machines (2.08%), jewelry repair (2.12%), painting works (1.12%), passenger transport services (4.19%), tourism (3.74%) and health-improving (4.8%) services. Services of hostels (0.15%), physical culture and sports (0.55%), insurance (0.88%) have become cheaper.

As reported, inflation in Belarus in June amounted to 0.7%.
