October 27, Grodno. 18 new industries are being created in the Grodno region within the framework of the “One District - One Project” program. Two of them - in Ivyevsky and Mostovsky districts - are already operating. A BELTA correspondent was informed about this by the Economics Committee of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

In the Ivyevsky district, the implementation of a project to organize the production of secondary polymer raw materials, polymer granules, and secondary polypropylene is planned to be completed by the end of this year. As Inna Tarasova, deputy chairman of the Ivyevsky district executive committee, said, the import-substituting production was located on the basis of a former bakery, where the necessary repairs were carried out and new modern equipment was installed. Products (and these are the same granules and secondary polypropylene film for the manufacture of bags, sacks, packaging of large-sized products) are already produced here. “The enterprise was included in the regional import substitution program,” noted Inna Tarasova. “Its advantage is that the collection of secondary raw materials for further processing has a beneficial effect on the environment, and the processed raw materials actually receive new uses. By the end of the year, the enterprise will have created 20 work places".

After the completion of the project at Recycling Plast LLC, the district plans to take up a new project within the framework of the “One District - One Project” order. The sewing production of the capital's headdress factory "Lyudmila" will be expanded in Ivye. it is planned to create up to 30 jobs.

In the Volkovysk region, JSC Bellakt took on the implementation of an important project. Here they are preparing for the construction of a new workshop for dry baby food according to GMP standards. “The creation of a new workshop will allow us to increase the production volume of dry baby food for EXPORT to CHINA , countries of the Asian and African regions,” noted Deputy Chairman of the Volkovysk District Executive Committee Tatyana Andrushkevich. “To establish production according to GMP standards, special requirements are required for the design, construction, operation of equipment, technological processes and personnel according to the principles of pharmaceuticals. Thanks to this, the range of baby food products will be expanded for new markets that require exactly this approach in this matter. The conditions for the production of dry baby food will meet the latest international standards. Products will also appear in new packaging - a tin can. It is planned in the workshop creation of 20 new jobs."

The implementation of the project will increase the MILK processing capacity of the enterprise by 26%. Production volumes of dry infant formula will double. “A feasibility study and pre-project documentation have already been developed,” added Tatyana Andrushkevich. “Marketing research is being carried out to develop design estimates.”

They are also preparing for the construction of a new workshop in Oshmyany. As Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee Yuri Snesar said, a modern workshop for slaughter and primary processing of cattle will be created at Oshmyany MEAT Processing Plant OJSC. “The workshop is planned to be built to improve the quality of processing, bring technological processes into compliance with current rules and regulations for subsequent entry into the markets of China, Islamic states and other countries that have requirements for products that comply with the halal certificate,” explained the deputy chairman of the district executive committee.

The target date for completion of construction is 2025. According to Yuri Snesar, pre-project documentation is currently being coordinated at BelHalal OJSC. After this, an environmental assessment will be carried out and work on a business plan will begin. It is planned to create 25 new jobs in the workshop.

“Within the framework of the “One District - One Project” program, the creation of new modern industries in the regions is under special control,” noted Alexander Komendant, HEAD of the economics committee of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee. “Many of them are aimed at producing import-substituting products. For example, a complex for the production of substrates for growing mushrooms in the Shchuchinsky district, the production of containers and packaging from paper pulp in the Slonim region and a number of others. Thanks to this, new jobs are created with high added value. New productions contribute to local economic development. It is important that this is a permanent process: Upon completion of one project within the program, the districts begin to implement the next one.”
