Agrocombinat "Nesvizhsky" increases the pace of production

Always fresh MEAT, vegetables, MILK and even sturgeon - this and many other products are famous for CJSC Agrocombinat Nesvizhsky. This year, thanks to the efforts of his team, production volumes have grown significantly. Due to what it was possible to achieve success, our correspondent found out.

Small but distant

The area of ​​CJSC "Agrokombinat Nesvizhsky" is small compared to an ordinary agricultural enterprise - just over 2.5 thousand hectares. But at the same time it shows high efficiency in all directions.

“The harvesting campaign this year was carried out, if not exemplarily, then very well,” Yury Sikiritsky, DIRECTOR of CJSC Agrokombinat Nesvizhsky, introduces. - We have added well in the gross harvest - it amounted to more than 5.8 thousand tons in bunker weight for winter wheat, barley, triticale and peas. At the same time, the yield crossed the mark of 70 centners per hectare. This is a good result! But we are sure we can do more.

Several factors contributed to these figures. Firstly, the average soil score increased to 40.7. In arable land, this figure is slightly higher. The second aspect is the availability of the necessary equipment. The company is constantly engaged in updating the machine and tractor fleet, purchasing advanced and highly efficient units. And, of course, the main role is played by the team.

- Numbers and statistics are just a statement. Behind all our success is the work of several hundred people. Thanks to their work, we can not only produce high-quality products, but also expand the planning horizon and implement promising ideas, - says Yuri Sikiritsky.

No chemistry

Agrokombinat Nesvizhsky is familiar to many Belarusians, primarily for vegetable production. Own greenhouse-greenhouse production occupies about 3.4 hectares. Cucumbers and tomatoes are mainly grown here.

“Our vegetables are popular not only in Belarus,” notes Yury Sikiritsky. – We also supply them to the Russian Federation. We are very careful when it comes to growing vegetables. Our advantage is the complete absence of any chemistry. We use only advanced security methods. Applying the rotation of crops, we also constantly add in gross production volumes.

As for real figures, this year the enterprise produced 341 tons of tomatoes and just over a thousand tons of cucumbers. The increase compared to 2021 was 103%.

Another important area is meat processing. The company has its own meat processing plant. The capacities are certified according to the standards of the Eurasian Economic Union, where the main volume of production goes. Regular deliveries to the People's Republic of CHINA have been established.

– The success of the meat processing plant directly depends on the supply of raw materials, so we are constantly increasing the number of cattle. We are talking about the already well-known Aberdeen

Angus breed, whose meat is valued for "marbling" and juiciness. Over the past year, the herd has replenished by about 500 units, which allows us to ensure optimal loading of the meat processing plant.

There will be more milk

One of the most important areas of work of the agricultural complex is dairy. However, the number of livestock is quite small - 561. However, efficiency is important. Thus, the average milk yield per cow since the beginning of the year amounted to 7,583 kilograms, which is 2,195 kilograms more than in 2021.

“Gross milk yield has also grown significantly – about one and a half times compared to the same period last year,” says Yury Sikiritsky. – Our complex, put into operation in 2018, is designed for 600 dairy cows. Installed modern equipment that allows you to achieve high results. Undoubtedly, the main merit in good performance in terms of milk yield and quality of milk is in our employees.

By the way, the leadership of the agrocombinat seeks to develop the dairy direction. Recently, the construction of a new building for keeping animals has begun.

– We want to increase the number of dairy herds to a thousand. Previously, an additional 350 cows will be placed there. We plan to put it into operation in the next few months, - the director of the enterprise told about the plans.

Catch, big fish...

CJSC "Agrokombinat Nesvizhsky" has one of the few fish shops in Belarus specializing in sturgeon breeding. The workshop maintains a special microclimate, which is close to the natural life cycle of these fish species.

“Our production volumes are not the largest,” says Anatoly Kamenko, HEAD of the shop. - Only about 10 tons. A special closed system with a displacement of one thousand cubic meters was installed in the workshop, 9 pools of 500 "cubes" each were equipped. In addition, the enterprise has its own lake.

Sturgeons are sold both to the population and organizations. There are many well-known cafes and restaurants among the clients of the agricultural complex.

“We are also engaged in small amounts of caviar incubation and fry rearing,” added Anatoly Kamenko.

Seed rate

Recently, the company has relied on the development of seed production. Today the agricultural complex is a certified dealer of foreign companies KVS and Rapoul. In 2021, Nesvizhsky began growing mother material to produce its own seeds. For this, a plant for the reproduction of these products was erected on the territory. Now, in addition to providing for their own needs, the agricultural complex supplies seeds to other agricultural organizations in the country.

Money is not down the drain

One of the business cards of the enterprise is its own wind turbine, which is visible for several kilometers. It allows you to provide electricity to a considerable need of its production facilities. It is planned to replenish the wind farm with several more installations.
