Successful arithmetic of "Big Novoselki"

In terms of production efficiency and main economic indicators, the branch "Bolshiye Novoselki" of the Unitary Enterprise "Borisov Combine of Grain Products" is among the undisputed leaders in the agricultural sector of the Borisov region. it is on such business executives, as they say, that our agriculture rests. First of all, this concerns dairy farming, which is the basis of the economy at an advanced agricultural enterprise.

In the branch "Bolshiye Novoselki" the number of cattle has long exceeded 7,000 heads, of which 2,150 are a dairy herd, and there are about 3.5 thousand bulls for fattening. By the way, the density per 100 hectares of agricultural land here is one of the highest in the region - more than 100 heads.

The farm includes two dairy complexes - "Novoselki" and "Moiseevshchina", where all technological requirements for keeping, feeding and milking animals are clearly debugged and strictly observed. Strict control - literally at all stages: from the receipt of young animals and ending with the production of products. Already today, the average daily MILK yield per cow has reached more than 21 liters. True, the Novoselkovites are not going to stop at this result. New bar - 25 liters per cow. And you can be sure: with their diligence and attitude to work, the team will achieve it and even step over it.

How do you manage to achieve such success in obtaining milk, besides the highest class? Without hesitation, Deputy Production DIRECTOR Yury Savenya answers: thanks to the long and painstaking work of everyone - from specialists in the veterinary and zootechnical services to machine milking operators who strictly observe all milking technologies, and machine operators who sow in the field, and then harvest fodder, lay haylage -silo trenches.

- Dairy cattle breeding is a sector of paramount importance for our economy. She gets special attention. Why? Because, firstly, we are not used to doing something half-heartedly. Secondly, milk is a reliable and, I emphasize, a constant source of cash receipts throughout the year, - explains Yury Aleksandrovich and clarifies that although the business is profitable, it requires special attention and approach. - In order to raise a cow of high productivity, work must begin with obtaining a good offspring, its maintenance, feeding, technological gains, which at the moment are more than 900 grams per day in our farm.

Of course, the human factor plays a significant role in this process. The complexes are equipped with video cameras that monitor every movement of workers. There are no trifles in such a serious matter: up to the use of gloves and special wipes for washing the udder before milking. The result is not surprising either: the farm is among the leaders in terms of milk, and the salary of milkmaids is at the level of two thousand rubles.

The farm's largest complex "Bolshie Novoselki" has 1,200 dairy cows. At the end of 2022, the complex is in the lead - they received 8,400 kilograms of milk per cow. For 35 years of work on the farm, the HEAD of the MTC, Valentina Kaptur, has a lot of secrets that allow her to gain milk from year to year and be listed among the leaders. It just so happened that Valentina Ivanovna comes to work earlier than others, and leaves later. And not because she has such a position, she simply treats her work with her soul. He says that in agriculture there is no way without it.

- Today, all conditions have been created for us: just work, don't be lazy. No one milks with their hands for a long time, and you don’t need to carry the feed yourself, the feeder will do everything for you. So, as it used to be, 30 years ago, and now - this is heaven and earth. In total, 12 machine milking operators work at the complex. Milking goes in three shifts: from 5 am to 3 am. We are already accustomed to such a daily routine, one might say, we live according to it. And, of course, there are weekends, - our heroine says with knowledge of the matter. - They say that milk is on the tongue of a cow, and I would also add: in the hands of farmers. After all, it was they who provided our cows with a full wintering, prepared in abundance both silage and haylage.

Indeed, in the same chain of obtaining a high productivity of a dairy herd, there is also the procurement of a forage base. In addition, she does not occupy the last place there. Due to the large livestock, crop production on the farm works primarily for the livestock industry. Stock up on feed with a vengeance - enough until the next harvest. Moreover, having long ago learned one golden rule, that the main thing is not just to "catch" the first cut in time, but after top dressing, in favorable weather, count on the second and, maybe, on the third. Every season the workers harvest the highest quality fodder. Only from such it is possible to obtain the necessary return, which is expressed in milk yield and weight gain.

- A lot depends on the composition of feed mixtures, the quality of haylage and silage, dry matter content, and so on. The arithmetic is simple - the better the feed, respectively, the higher the milk yield, - Yuriy Savenya joins the conversation again. - If you work well on grassy feed, you can get about 15 liters of milk from a cow without using concentrates. In this regard, our agronomic service is working with skill.

Today, the farm is in full swing building the third dairy complex near the village of Negnovichi. A new farm for 800 heads is being built literally in an open field. Construction began in August 2022, but judging by the towering two barns and a milking unit, the facility is planned to be commissioned well ahead of schedule - by summer. Although according to the project, such facilities are built in at least 18 months.

In addition to the construction of livestock buildings, two wells were drilled on the territory of the complex. Own boiler house, transformer station and water tower will operate. Plumbing done. In a word, the facility, strategic by the standards of agriculture, is fully equipped with everything necessary for comfortable work and for obtaining high results.

- The head of state always pays great attention to the construction of dairy complexes, and to the work of the entire livestock industry in general. After all, dairy products are one of the main areas in our agriculture, - Yury Alexandrovich sums up. - As practice shows, at new MTK with the use of modern technologies and equipment, labor productivity is significantly increased, costs are reduced and working conditions are significantly improved. This is exactly what we expect from MTK Negnovichi, which is expected to be launched by July 2023.

This year, the Bolshie Novoselki branch, which is part of the UE Borisov Combine of Bakery Products, will complete the construction of a new modern dairy complex for 800 heads near the village of Negnovichi.
