November 18, MINSK. Women who work in the agro-industrial complex treat their work like real housewives. Svetlana Feoktistova, HEAD of the laboratory of the feed mill SPK Gigant, said this at the opening of the first republican forum of rural workers, BelTA has learned.

“A woman’s contribution to the country’s food security is quite significant. After all, it is very important for any of us that there are quality products on our table. Therefore, Belarus pays so much attention to growing grain for bread, obtaining MEAT and MILK, so that we and our children are provided a wide range of goods. And a woman who works in agriculture treats her work like a real housewife, "said the head of the laboratory.

At her job, Svetlana Feoktistova is engaged in determining the quality of raw materials for animal feed and finished products for cattle and pigs. “The quality of agricultural products, in particular milk and meat, depends on obtaining high-quality animal feed. Today’s forum gives us an opportunity to understand how agriculture will develop in our country, because a large number of women work in this industry. and living conditions in the village, especially for our children," said Svetlana Feoktistova.

On the eve of the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers, the first republican forum of rural workers has opened in Belarus. The forum is two days long and has a rich program. Today, representatives of various professions in the field of agriculture from all regions of the country have gathered at the Bolshoi Theater - livestock breeders, livestock specialists, laboratory assistants, machine milking operators, heads of dairy complexes. The forum brought together 1 thousand participants. The key goal of the congress is to honor the workers who daily care about the food security of our country.
