The branch of Agrofirma "Lebedevo" RUE "Minskenergo" is rightfully considered one of the leading farms in the Molodechno district of the MINSK region. In 2022, more than 8 thousand tons of grain were harvested on the lands of the enterprise. This year they expect at least the same result. Our correspondent found out how they are preparing for the sowing season here and what plans they have for the 2023 harvest.

The largest in the region

Agrofirm "Lebedevo" RUE "Minskenergo" is one of the largest and most successful agricultural enterprises in the Molodechno region. The economy, whose history spans more than 70 years, has undergone many transformations. The key event took place in 2004, as a result of which it acquired its current form.

“It took a lot of effort,” recalls the DIRECTOR of the branch, Lyudmila Lymar. - But in the end, we were able to significantly increase production indicators both in crop production and animal husbandry. This became possible thanks to a large-scale modernization of capacities, the use of new technologies, and the renewal of the machine and tractor fleet of the enterprise. RUE "Minskenergo" played a significant role, which provides us with constant support necessary for systematic development.

Agrofirm "Lebedevo" specializes in animal husbandry and crop production. And in both directions, success is obvious. For 19 years, MILK production has increased by more than 8 times. Today, the branch has several modern dairy farms, some of which were built from scratch, and several have undergone a profound transformation. According to the HEAD of the MTF-2 "Moroska" Natalya Rabetskaya, the milking parlors are equipped with a special milk accounting system:

- This is an important function that allows you to receive daily data on the milk yield of each cow, track them in dynamics, and change the diet if necessary. In recent years, the productivity of the dairy herd has become much higher. Breeding work, increase in livestock - this is what, among other things, makes it possible for our dairy industry to be successful.

Of course, without the efforts of specialists, such a result cannot be achieved. And working in the agricultural sector has never been easy.

“But we understand that we are contributing to the country's food security,” says livestock breeder Olga Evlanova. “Besides, we get great pleasure from work.

The number of cattle at the enterprise is 5505 heads. The productivity of young cattle for growing and fattening has reached 783 grams. Dairy herd at the enterprise 1670 heads. Gross milk production in 2022 increased to 16,740 tons, which is 9,571 kilograms per cow.

Strength is in the team

The beginning of spring is not happy with the weather yet, but farmers are already actively preparing to go into the fields. As a rule, the first equipment is sent to arable land in mid-late March.

Mechanic Viktor Kokhan says that the construction of a new building of repair shops has recently been completed, and therefore this season it is more efficient to take care of the equipment.

- I have already prepared my unit, the seeder. With the rest of the equipment as a whole, it is also in full order, there are minor improvements. We are looking forward to getting out into the field,” he assures.

Mechanic Alexander Klemenok, who has been working at the enterprise for more than 30 years, notes:

- Recently, the material and technical base has been greatly updated. We have the most modern tools at our disposal. We are very glad that such spacious workshops were built. Repairing equipment is now faster.

Some tractors are already working in the fields. At one of them, machine operator Alexander Brilevsky applies fertilizer to the soil.

- So far, quite severe frosts and precipitation. I hope the weather will improve soon and we will be able to fully start the sowing campaign,” he says.

Lyudmila Lymar hopes that she will be able to enter the fields in the near future. Every day, meteorological forecasts are closely monitored here.

We hope that this year will not be worse than the previous one. We have the necessary technologies, a stable financial situation, and a strong backbone of personnel. We are faced with the task of doing the work with high quality and in the optimal time, - the head concluded.

In total, the company employs more than 300 people. Employees of the branch of Agrofirm "Lebedevo" RUE "Minskenergo" are provided with various social guarantees.

- We have a good social package, we provide material assistance in various situations. We approach the selection of personnel responsibly - it is important that a person really supports his work. And we, in turn, are ready to provide comfortable working conditions and decent wages, - says Lyudmila Lymar.

The entire complex of technological works for harvesting in 2022 at the branch was completed on time and in compliance with the crop cultivation regulations. Gross grain production following the results of the last harvest amounted to 8215 tons, which is 1757 tons more than in 2021. And the average yield reached 64.7 c/ha.

The branch of Agrofirm "Lebedevo" RUE "Minskenergo" is famous for its own fruit storage, which is designed for 2200 tons. Apples, chokeberry and other crops are brought here, which are then sent for processing. Chokeberry, in particular, is then used in the production of baby food and drinks. This speaks of its high quality.

For 19 years, the machine and tractor fleet has been completely updated. The emphasis is on efficient and energy-rich technology. So, only for 2021-2022. a harvester, a forklift, tractors, a feed distributor and other units were purchased.
