Farms of all categories (agricultural organizations, peasant (farmer) households and households) produced products worth Br8.1 billion in January-May 2023, which is 5.4% more in comparable prices compared to the same period last year. Agricultural organizations produced products worth Br8 billion, or 5.8% more in comparable prices than in the corresponding period of 2022.In farms of all categories in January-May, 745 thousand tons of livestock and poultry were produced in live weight (an increase of 4.5%), MILK - 3385.1 thousand tons (an increase of 5.4%). In agricultural enterprises, the production of livestock and poultry in live weight amounted to 724.9 thousand tons (an increase of 4.9%), milk - 3321.7 thousand tons (5.7% more).
As of June 1, 2023, there were 4.2 million heads of cattle in agricultural organizations (1.2% more than in June 2022), including 1.4 million cows. The number of pigs was 2.3 million.
