November 16, MINSK. Trade union organizations from all regions collected the most necessary food and things for the refugees. This was reported to BelTA by the press service of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus.

These are more than 2,000 cans of canned MEAT, about 1,000 loaves of bread and the same number of packages of MILK, baby food kits, fast food, dried fruits, cookies, juices, and mashed potatoes. In addition, as part of humanitarian aid - blankets and warm clothes, diapers for children. In total, in addition to the assistance already provided in previous days, more than 6 tons of goods were sent.

"All these products are now centrally assembled in warehouses in Grodno and will soon be transferred directly to the border in the form of already formed sets. After the ordeals that refugees had to endure at the border today, this assistance will be especially in demand. Almost a day people, including including children, who were without food and warmth, at sub-zero temperatures they were targeted by water cannons.In this situation, of course, they will need additional clothing and warm clothes to keep warm.As the practice of past days shows, products, especially baby food , are also always needed in a spontaneous refugee camp," the FPB noted.

Trade unions are ready to continue, if necessary, to support people who find themselves in this difficult situation and provide them with all possible assistance.
