Agricultural organizations of the Minsk region produced almost 2 million tons of milk in 2021

January 17, MINSK. Agricultural organizations of the Minsk region in January-December 2021 produced almost 2 million tons of MILK. This was told to a BelTA correspondent by Deputy Chairman of the Economy Committee of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Elena Vasilevskaya.

"In 2021, agricultural organizations of the Minsk region produced more than 1.98 million tons of milk, of which over 1.79 million tons were sold. The growth rate was 102.7% compared to 2020," Elena Vasilevskaya said.

The milk processing enterprises of the Myasomolprom holding received more than 1.3 million tons of basic fat milk. This is 73% of the realized.

Milk processing in the Minsk region is concentrated in 7 large organizations: Zdravushka-milk OJSC, Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant OJSC, Molodechno Dairy Plant OJSC and Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 OJSC, which are part of the Myasomolprom holding, as well as in RTPUE "Molochny Gostinets", LLC "Nesvizh Baby Food Plant" and CJSC "Smolevichi Moloko".

As Elena Vasilevskaya noted, worthy results in the production of a wide range of dairy products are shown by Molodechno Dairy Plant JSC. it includes several production sites. In 2021, the technological service of the enterprise introduced and produced new types of products, including 30 types of cheese, 4 cottage cheese and 2 blue cheese.

The HEAD enterprise of the plant specializes in the production of milk, cream, kefir, sour cream, cottage cheese and glazed curds. Butter, semi-hard and hard cheeses, skimmed milk powder are produced at the Volozhinsky production site , while sterilized milk and blue cheeses are produced at the Narochinsky production site. The plant also includes the Vileika production site, which produces butter, milk, kefir, sour cream, technical casein, and from 2023 it is planned to produce Camembert cheese with white mold.
