"They sent soldiers and destroyed our country, and now they won't let us in": a refugee about the actions of the West

November 16, Grodno. The West sent soldiers and destroyed their countries, and now they don't want to help the refugees. This opinion was shared with journalists today from the camp formed at the entrance to the Polish checkpoint, BelTA has learned.

Refugees who left the camp near the Polish border the day before spent a cold night at the entrance to the Polish checkpoint Kuznitsa Bialystokskaya. Many of them complained not only about the icy cold, but also about the lack of food and water. There are many families with children among the refugees. They are not allowed into Poland.

“Why is this happening? The West sent thousands of soldiers who destroyed our country, and now they don’t want to accept us,” one of the refugees expressed himself emotionally. He says that many literally die from the cold.

"It's not about us. Save at least our children. We have nowhere to return," the man emphasizes. He says the EU has not kept its promises.

"All this is a big lie. We do not believe the words of the European Union. Let us hear the crying of children on this cold night. They are literally killing us," one of the women in the camp cries.

Today, another batch of humanitarian aid from Belarusians was delivered to the refugee camp. Volunteers handed out First of all, products - MILK , bread, canned MEAT, confectionery - were given to women and children. The supply of aid from Belarus will continue.

Poland fenced off the refugees with metal shields, barbed wire, armed security forces and water cannons.
