April 29, Vitebsk. About 40 enterprises and organizations - the winners of the competition based on the results of work for 2022, were brought to the regional and city Boards of Honor on Victory Square in Vitebsk, BelTA has learned.

The best districts, enterprises and workers who raise the standard of living in the northern region with their work were noted by the leadership of the region and the city. Among them are manufacturers of goods and services, organizations of industry, construction, transport and communications, trade, housing and communal services, institutions of education, healthcare, culture and sports.

About 20 organizations filled up the city Board of Honor. The winners were those who achieved the best results in the field of socio-economic development and saving fuel, energy and material resources last year. In particular, the best in the labor competition were the Vitebsk plant of tractor spare parts, the Tiraspol agrotechnical service, the Road Construction Department No. 45 of Vitebsk, the Bridge Building Department No. 5 branch of the Mostostroy Open Joint-Stock Company, the Vitebsk Communal Production Unitary Enterprise of Boiler and Heat Networks "VPKiTS" ". The Vitebskvodtrans branch of RUESP "Dnepro-Bugsky waterway", the Vitebsk branch of Belpochta, OJSC "Mir Uslug Plus" and "Vitmil" were also noted.

Among the districts of Vitebsk, Oktyabrsky is noted, Polotsk and Postavy districts are listed on the regional Board of Honor. "I think that this success is not accidental. And for the first time, the Postavy District is listed on the regional Board of Honor, our construction organization and agricultural enterprise, the territorial center. We simply conscientiously and responsibly carry out the instructions that the HEAD of state and the governor set. The district is predominantly agricultural, although Industry occupies 70%, and agriculture - 30% of the total gross output.But over the past five years, we have achieved significant indicators in agriculture, added to the gross output and production of MILK, grain, increased the number of cattle by 5 thousand heads. “We are trying to increase the production of agricultural products, livestock, milk, MEAT, we increase grain production every year. Last year was not bad - 15 thousand tons.
