How to make an agricultural enterprise profitable and successful? The answer to this question is known in JSC "Kopylskoe". Based on the results of the harvesting and almost the whole year, the farm has significantly increased the quality indicators of work. However, they are not going to stop there.
Significant increaseThis year turned out to be fruitful for the farmers from OAO "Kopylskoe". Both the gross harvest and grain yields have grown significantly. Thus, the increase in the standard nomenclature of cereals amounted to 7 centners per hectare.
- And for rapeseed, it's 10 centners per round, - says the DIRECTOR of JSC "Kopylskoye" Dmitry Polevikov. - I think that they worked very well, although, as they say, there are no limits to perfection. Of course, the weather helped a lot. However, this is only one of the factors. First of all, we completed all the necessary manipulations on time.
Of course, our employees played a key role - they did an excellent job and received a natural positive result. Good performance is also in the collection of corn and other crops.After cleaning, there was no less. In September, farmers began mass sowing of winter grains. By the way, this year they were sown on 600 hectares more. Such a policy is carried out consciously.
- We decided to revise the structure of crops and gave preference to winter crops. First, they produce higher yields and are less prone to losses. Thus, today winter crops occupy about 80% of all crops, - explains Dmitry Polevikov.
The sowing campaign in "Kopylskoye" was completed on time. And this despite the fact that autumn threw a few unpleasant surprises.
September was unusually rainy and cold. Nevertheless, our employees coped with the highest appraisal. Also, the forage preparation was completed on time. After the last mowing, we have 26,000 tons of silage and 18,000 tons of haylage in our bins. This volume is enough to supply animals with food all winter, - says the HEAD of the enterprise.
And how delicious!OJSC "Kopylskoye" has its own canteen. it is designed not only for the staff of the enterprise, but also for other residents. Recently, the premises have been upgraded with new equipment. As Natalya Krepskaya, head of the canteen, noted, working in the kitchen has become even more comfortable.
“Dozens of people have lunch and dinner here every day. We cook for ourselves: so that it is tasty and satisfying. Still, agriculture is an industry that takes a lot of effort. Therefore, we make our lunches and dinners nutritious. We follow modern trends - we even have delivery: we deliver food to employees on farms and other places, - says the canteen.
By the way, for the employees of the enterprise, both lunches and dinners are practically free. The employee pays only 10% of the final cost of the dish. And in general, the prices for visitors are quite small. You can have a good lunch with only 5 rubles in your pocket - MINSK never dreamed of! The range includes both standard dishes and a variety of pastries.
- There are certain ideas for the development of our canteen, we always need to move forward. In particular, the management and I are thinking about organizing the baking of bread and other products,” Natalya Krepskaya concluded.
MILK riversIn "Kopylsky" the dairy direction has received a powerful development. The structure of the enterprise operates several large dairy complexes, which contain 4,780 heads of cattle. A considerable part (1820 heads) belongs to the dairy herd.
“On average, we milk about 25 liters of milk per cow per day,” says farm manager Oksana Shvets. - This is a very high figure. It has tripled in the last few years! Including due to high-quality feed and competent work of our specialists.
By the way, almost the entire volume of milk goes to enterprises of the extra variety - on average, about 95%. This also speaks of a high culture of production. In the future, they plan to create a breeding herd here.
- We also want to try to breed a herd with a high genetic potential, - says Valery Misiyuk, Deputy Director for Livestock at Kopylskoye OJSC. We have done a lot of research on animals. Now we have genomic information for each. Thus, we know the potential of each. This will allow in the future to organize accurate and, importantly, high-quality selection. Thanks to this, it will be possible to avoid typical diseases, as well as increase production rates.
The profession of artificial insemination operator is one of the most important in agriculture. On one of the farms, these functions are entrusted to Tatiana Domotskaya. The specialist says that the work is painstaking, every detail must be taken into account.
- This is a big responsibility, because the quantity and quality of livestock depends on me. The range of responsibilities is large. I prepare the necessary solutions, medicines, the selection of cows for insemination ... In general, every day I have to perform a huge number of tasks. But when I see that the work is done well and brings results, this is one of the best feelings, - says Tatiana Domotskaya.
There will be more milkSoon the number of dairy herds in "Kopyl" will increase by 800 heads. These days, the construction of another dairy farm has started on the territory of the farm. It is planned that the complex will start working next year. The project is implemented with the support of the regional authorities.
The average salary in OAO "Kopylskoe" is 1.5 thousand rubles. Narrow specialists can earn many times more. So are machine operators, especially at the height of the harvesting campaign.
Prepare for future accomplishmentsUntil spring, there is a lull in the fields of the enterprise - a dense layer of snow has fallen on the ground. But in other structural divisions, a hot time has come. Especially in the mechanized yard. Preparations for the next agricultural season are in full swing. “As soon as it becomes quiet in the fields, we have more work,” the young man says with a smile. – During the three winter months, it is necessary to service and check all the equipment so that it is in perfect condition by the beginning of spring work. Fortunately, the process is well established: we have a good team, plenty of spare parts. Work is just for fun.

Profitable industryIn OAO "Kopylskoye", unlike many other farms, pig breeding is being developed. In total, the profile farm contains more than 4,600 animals. As Dmitry Polevikov notes, this direction is financially beneficial for the enterprise.
– Therefore, we have certain plans to expand and increase the number of pigs. We plan that soon there will be 7 thousand of them. This will give even more profit, there will be conditions for creating new jobs, - the head of the farm brings up to date.
By the way, the MEAT is processed at the enterprise on its own - there is a processing workshop. About 30 tons of pork and 40 tons of beef pass through it per month. Masters make semi-finished products, various sausages and other products.
“Most importantly, our meat and sausages are exclusively natural. In the production process, only high-quality raw materials are used. But we do not use additives, which sometimes large manufacturers sin, because we appreciate the buyer and his high demands.
You can buy sausage produced by OJSC "Kopylskoye" in the company store "Pyatachok", which is located in the district center. The products are also sold in the neighboring Nesvizh. In the future, the management has plans to expand the geography of sales of meat products. By the way, the capacity of the shop allows processing about 900 tons of pork per year.
New culturesThe company's specialists are constantly experimenting in the field of crop production. In the future, soybeans are planned to be grown on the fields of Kopylsky. The sowing of peas will also be increased. The cultivation of flax oilseeds is also considered promising here.
- In our country, soy is not widely used. However, this culture is very valuable: it contains a lot of protein, which is so necessary for animals. We used to buy soybeans. In the future, we plan to completely switch to our own, - says Dmitry Polevikov.
Feed storage innovationThe farm uses its own method of storing feed. Each silage trench is divided into a certain number of "squares", each of which is individually wrapped. In this way, the feed retains its nutrients for a longer time and their shelf life is increased.

By the way, the team is quite young, the average age of employees does not exceed 40 years.
