A new workshop is planned to be built at the Pruzhany Dairy Plant

January 18, Pruzhany district. Production areas of Pruzhany Dairy Plant OJSC are planned to be increased. This was announced today by the President's Affairs Manager - authorized representative of the HEAD of state for the Brest region Valery Ivanov at a meeting with the plant's staff, BelTA has learned.

"The financial results are positive. The growth rate of production volume is 120.8%. Net profit for 2021 amounted to Br8.6 million. it increased by almost Br3 million compared to the level of 2020," Valery Ivanov noted. The company produces hard cheeses and dry dairy products. About 350 tons of raw materials are processed at the plant per day. In total, in the Pruzhany region, approximately 600 tons of MILK are received per day.

"Almost 250 tons of milk need to be transported somewhere outside the district. We are planning to expand production. A project will be implemented to commission a new milk processing workshop. Moreover, we plan to connect one of the agricultural enterprises of the Pruzhany district. This is a fairly large amount of work. I think that the territory attached to the plant will begin to develop at a faster pace," the President's manager said. The project is intended to be implemented in 2022-2023.

Valery Ivanov also stressed that the range of products should be increased. The introduction of new products is one of the main requirements. "If sanctions affect imported cheeses that are on store shelves, they can be replaced by ours. Production technologies are known. The most important thing is to apply them. We are working on this," he assured.
