MINSK . Based on the results of the inspection,
the prosecutor's office of the Vitebsk region opened a criminal case against two deputy general directors of the Polotsk enterprise. They were charged with official negligence, which negligently resulted in causing damage to state property on an especially large scale and other grave consequences. BELTA was informed about this by the information service of the prosecutor's office of the Vitebsk region.
According to the materials of the criminal case, the deputy general directors, knowing reliably about the formation of a significant volume of finished products - dry whey in the warehouses owned by the enterprise in Vitebsk and Gorodok, from March 2023 to March
2024 did not take measures to ensure its timely sale, while the whey expiration date expired. They did not look for markets for their products, the possibility of processing them and making a whole
MILK substitute from them.
In addition, due to dishonest and negligent attitude to their official duties, officials did not ensure the timely receipt of an attestation certificate in the CIFER customs system for the sale of dairy products worth $4 million to a foreign resident under a contract concluded with him. This resulted in the enterprise’s failure to fulfill its contractual obligations regarding the delivery of whey powder worth more than $219 thousand in November - December 2023, subject to advance payment.
The illegal actions of two deputy general directors of the enterprise were qualified under Part 2 of Art. 428 of the Criminal Code. To organize a preliminary investigation, the criminal case was sent to the department of the State Security Committee for the Vitebsk region.
