Named the reason for the dismissal of Maslyakov from the post of director of "Planet KVN"

As stated in the press service of the International Union of KVN, Maslyakov resigned on his own initiative, and not in connection with the inspections of the prosecutor's office, according to RIA Novosti.

Earlier, a study by Transparency International was published, according to which a conflict of interest arose when Maslyakov managed Planet KVN. Being the HEAD of this SUE (state unitary enterprise. - Note TUT.BY), the presenter transferred the ownership of the television creative association AMiK, the founder of which he himself is, the Havana cinema.

In May, Transparency International sent a request to the prosecutor's office to check Maslyakov's activities. The Moscow prosecutor's office said that the deal was agreed with the property department of the capital. The organization, in turn, challenged the response of the Moscow prosecutor's office in the Prosecutor General's Office, and after that, the Moscow government dismissed Maslyakov from the post of DIRECTOR of the State Unitary Enterprise by order of July 21, 2017.

The press service explained that the procedure for dismissal from the post of director of Planet KVN was initiated by Maslyakov in early 2017. The reason given is the need to bring his work activity in line with the requirements of federal legislation.

“However, due to a number of circumstances, including some bureaucratic issues, this process was somewhat delayed. At the same time, this dismissal was carried out in full compliance with the requirements of the law,” the press service noted.

As stated in the union, the TV presenter was not aware of the circumstances of the check, including the content of the complaint received. At the time of the request from the prosecutor's office, he was no longer in the position of director of the State Unitary Enterprise.

“As far as is known, no response measures were taken based on the results of this inspection. Thus, the arguments of the Transparency International organization were not confirmed, ”the press service added.
