On the way to the top. How LLC "AF Modul" becomes the leader of the region

A few years ago, this enterprise could not boast of serious indicators even at the level of its district. The situation has changed in 2022. Thanks to what approaches, once one of the most lagging farms in the region becomes the "locomotive" of the agricultural sector of the Molodechno region - in our material.

LLC "AF Modul" is an agricultural enterprise specializing in the production of MILK, MEAT, as well as the cultivation of grain and industrial crops. In a little over a year, the outsider farm has become one of the leaders in the agricultural sector of the region. And the leadership is not going to stop there. A little less than two years ago, a reorganization took place here. From communal property, the economy passed into private ownership, the organization was bought by the owner of the ALS-Invest company and the Akdimol enterprise, Alexei Savchuk.

“Our team started working at the beginning of last year,” says Roman Kononov, DIRECTOR of AF Modul LLC. - Until 2021, the enterprise was in communal ownership and did not show serious results. In this short period of time, we have achieved a lot. For example, it is worth noting the results of the harvest.

If in 2021 the gross grain harvest amounted to 1832 tons, then in 2022 the figure increased to 4472 tons, and this is without rapeseed.

Since the beginning of last year, the company has done serious work to modernize its facilities. Many premises have been repaired, the structure of sowing areas has been significantly changed, equipment and material and technical base have been updated. Such a high rate of development became possible thanks to the financial injections of the new owner of the enterprise, Alexei Savchuk. Thanks to this, production figures have increased significantly and continue to grow.

- The team basically remained the same. The company employs a lot of people with vast practical experience, whose skills are very valuable. Of course, we are gradually attracting young people, creating good conditions for new personnel to work and realize their own potential, - says the HEAD of the organization.

There is not much milk

Every month, the dairy industry brings the company about a million rubles. However, this bar is far from limiting. Milk production is a key component of the economy.

- In this component, we have also seriously added. If in 2021 the gross milk yield was 3969 tons, then in the next - already 6879 tons. The average milk yield per cow increased from 9 to 19 liters. Such a result, of course, was preceded by serious work, - summed up the head.

In particular, we had to resolve the issue of food supply. A year ago, there were virtually no stocks in the bins - they had to be purchased from other enterprises in the MINSK region. And today there is already a year and a half supply of feed.

There are 1231 cows at the dairy complexes of AF Modul LLC. The dairy herd is planned to be increased.

- It is milk that is real money, which later can and should be invested in our development. To achieve the desired result, there is a lot of work to update the herd. However, a lot has already been done, - emphasizes Roman Kononov.

By the way, the company's milk is sent for processing to the Gomel region, where it is used to produce delicious cheeses and other whole-milk products.

More land - more effect

Soon, one of the neighboring agricultural enterprises in the region will be transferred to the trust management of AF Modul LLC. Thus, the total and cultivated area of ​​the economy will be about 11 thousand hectares. Such a decision, Roman Kononov notes, will have a positive impact on the organization’s economy in the future:

- Now we have relatively small land resources, which somewhat limits development. The transfer of a neighboring enterprise to trust management will help solve several problems at once: to expand the sowing of various crops, to increase the number of cattle. Competent work will allow for a certain period of time to seriously increase economic indicators.

After consolidation, the number of dairy herds will also increase. The new lands include dairy complexes. They are also planned to be upgraded.

- Initially, we planned to build a new complex. However, later we made a decision to renovate those facilities that will fall under our control. This approach will be no less effective, - says the head of the enterprise.

Today, AF Modul LLC is actively preparing for the upcoming sowing campaign. Despite the vagaries of the beginning of spring and sudden changes in temperature, the necessary preparatory work in the fields is underway.

- Given the weather, we plan to start the sowing campaign a little later - approximately in mid-April, - the head of the enterprise shares his plans. - In 2022, we started earlier, but the climatic conditions of this year have made their own adjustments. Nevertheless, we are ready for the start of full-scale work. There is the necessary supply of seeds, and the equipment is in order - in the winter they actively worked on its preparation.

This year, they plan to practically double the loaf here - to collect about 9 thousand tons of grain!

- We have all the technologies and competencies to achieve such a result. Of course, we hope for good weather conditions. A lot depends on them too. But in the first place - the skill and desire to grow a quality crop, - concluded Roman Kononov.

Significantly increased in LLC "AF Modul" indicators for growing rapeseed. The gross weight of this crop after completion in 2022 amounted to 830 tons.

- Rapeseed has become one of the most profitable crops in recent years. Many enterprises, including ours, give more and more preference to rapeseed. By increasing the area under it, we improve our own well-being, - says Roman Kononov.

Updating technology - at the forefront

Particular emphasis is placed on the purchase of energy-saturated equipment. Several harvesters, tractors and feeders have recently been purchased.

- With the growth of qualitative and economic indicators, wages have also increased at the enterprise. Today, an employee of AF Modul LLC receives an average of 1,470 rubles, which is significantly higher than in 2021. During the hot period of sowing or harvesting, machine operators can earn up to 5 thousand rubles a month. - In total, we employ a little more than 120 people. We do everything to make the conditions comfortable. We have recently renovated amenity premises in repair shops, Roman Kononov emphasizes.

For about two years, the enterprise has been owned by Alexei Savchuk, the owner of the ALS-invest company and the Akdimol enterprise. In such a short period of time, thanks to serious financial investments and competent management, the farm managed to significantly improve the quality indicators of its activities. However, the bar set by the management of the enterprise is even higher.
