“It should be noted right away that we have been moving towards expanding the range of products for a long time and the issue of food security in our country has been unequivocally resolved. Now the issue is not in ensuring food security, but in increasing exports and sending these products to neighboring countries,” said Vadim Shagoiko. If we turn to the numbers, I would like to note that in the world ranking Belarus occupies the 36th position in terms of food security.We provide ourselves with 94% of our production, completely cover the main food items - grain, potatoes, MILK , MEAT, producing with a significant margin ".

Belarusian manufacturers are constantly expanding their range. "We produce a wide range of both dairy and meat products. And, of course, any buyer, no matter how picky he is, will find our products on the shelves. Our technologists constantly study the taste preferences of consumers, travel to various forums, exhibitions, study foreign innovations," the deputy minister said.
