July 16, MINSK. MART spoke about the price situation in the consumer market in June, BelTA informs.

"In June, the annual increase in consumer prices increased by 0.6 percentage points and amounted to 17.6%. The increase in prices against May - 1.1% (0.7% a month earlier), against December - 13.1%," they said. in the ministry.

Most of all, inflation was affected by the rise in prices for goods and raw materials for their production against the background of the weakening of the Belarusian ruble against the currency of the key trading partner - RUSSIA (only in a month - by 13.7%, in 12 months - by 28.7%). Pressure remains on the consumer market from the growth of average import prices against the backdrop of rising world prices, as well as in neighboring countries, states that are the main trading partners.

"For example, in Turkey (a supplier of a significant amount of fruits and vegetables), inflation in May amounted to 73.5% in annual terms. "The slowdown in inflationary processes is facilitated by the slowdown in the annual increase in prices for fruits and vegetables: from 32.4% in May to 25.6% in June," the MART noted.

In June, inflation was most influenced by the increase in prices for tourist services (increased by 13.1%), as well as goods that are not produced in the state or are produced in insufficient quantities. In particular, electrical goods (by 2%), confectionery products (by 2.7%), perfumes and cosmetics (by 3.7%), detergents (by 4.3%), cars (by 5%).
