April 28, MINSK. President of Belarus ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO immediately upon arrival in Vetka raised the issue of staffing of dairy complexes, BelTA has learned.

The HEAD of state asked whether the newly built and modernized MTCs are fully equipped with cattle. He was informed that not yet, work in this direction is underway.

“If we don’t supply livestock to technological premises - dairy complexes, where the cow will be milked not by hand, not in a MILK pipeline, but in a milking parlour, we won’t supply any milk and there will be no quality,” the Belarusian leader noted.

Alexander Lukashenko stressed that all these MTCs must be fully staffed with livestock, otherwise the invested funds will not pay off. "Blame yourself if you don't fill up the new and reconstructed complexes," he warned. This task concerns not only the Gomel region, but the country as a whole. In varying degrees, it is relevant for different regions.

At the same time, the head of state drew attention, it is also important what kind of cattle the complexes will be equipped with, how maintenance and care will be organized. Here, one of the main indicators of work is milk yield, which at new complexes cannot be lower than even the average republican and regional levels. “Why did they build it? The new complexes need twice as much,” Alexander Lukashenko stressed.

The head of state was also informed about the progress of spring field work, the state of winter crops, work on consolidation and consolidation of farms.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka paid special attention to fertilizing with mineral fertilizers. "There is enough fertilizer. Take it, bring it in," he said.
