“We sow grain with this seeder equipped with automatic navigation,” the chief agronomist drew attention, noting the productivity, efficiency and accuracy of the trailed unit, which has not failed farmers for eight years now.

– Modern technologies help out a lot: precision farming saves seeds, plant protection products, and increases yields! - said Alexander Kasper, DIRECTOR of Seilovichi OJSC, who arrived at the mechanical yard to complete the acceptance.

The HEAD also drew attention to another component of success: the high quality of seeds, which is constantly monitored by agronomist-seed grower Dmitry Khramtsevich, a key specialist in crop production. This JSC remembers the folk wisdom: do not expect a good tribe from a bad seed, so they buy seeds from elite farms that are engaged in replicating highly productive varieties.

Thus, the farm team confidently entered the new agricultural year.

Farmers are about to start sowing with spring barley, and other crops will come in turn.

- But first of all, let's deal with closing the moisture in the fields! - noted the chief agronomist: - Let's save it - spring crops will grow together!

The main spring field work of JSC "Sailovichi" on energy-saturated tractors will be performed by experienced machine operators, one of which is Vyacheslav Khvitko. He has 40 years of work experience. The work of the field-growing team is organized by foreman Yury Rusak.

In 2022, the company showed one of the best business results among agricultural enterprises in the Nesvizh region. The average yield of cereals, the area of ​​which is 1330 hectares, is 68.5 q/ha. Wheat turned out to be more grateful than other crops - they collected 70-72 centners per hectare. 9107 tons of grain were harvested (for comparison: in 2021 - 7148 tons). Increased revenue from the sale of grain - 1121 thousand. rubles (in 2021 - 950 thousand rubles). I was pleased with rapeseed: we received 1039 tons of rapeseed oil seeds (for comparison: in 2021 we collected 998.7 tons - on the same 250 hectares). Rapeseed revenue - 1542 thousand rubles.

Feed is milk and weight gain

Traditionally, the main part of crop production in JSC "Sailovichi" goes to feed cattle and pigs. Since the quality of the farm's feed is at a high level, the weight gain of animals is growing. For example, the average daily weight gain of cattle was 690 grams last year, and the gross weight gain was 420 tons.

There are 2834 heads of cattle in Seilovichi OJSC, 1190 of them are cows. For 2022, the average milk yield from cows amounted to 8667 kilograms of milk (in 2021 - 8101 kilograms), and the gross for the farm - 10313 tons (in 2021 - 9600 tons).

95.7% of the extra grade was handed over to the state, 4.1% of the highest grade. The quality of dairy raw materials to processors is the highest. Revenue from milk for the year - 10267 thousand rubles. (in 2021 - 7906.9 thousand rubles), and its profitability is 52.6%. That is, milk is a profitable direction of the economy of the economy.

The collectives of dairy farms of the open joint-stock company worked productively, demonstrating competent approaches in the organization of feeding and milking.

The farm starts with a calf and... a pig

With care and attention, livestock breeders are engaged in raising calves.

“The life of the future herd begins with a small calf,” says Alexander Kasper, director of Seilovichi OJSC, and shows the calf dispensary, under which the old farm was modernized and converted last year. Here, strong heifers and bulls grow in a group "kindergarten", and small ones - in individual houses. Everywhere is clean, lined, kids and those who are older are full and fed. Calf breeders provide them with care and attention 24 hours a day.

Significant attention is paid to the breeding of pigs in Seilovichi OJSC. All technological and hygienic conditions are strictly observed at the pig farm. The mirror of such work is good weight gain. The average daily in 2022 amounted to 527 grams (+36.6% by 2021), and the gross - almost 978 tons. The livestock of the pig farm also gave a good offspring. In 2022, the herd was replenished with 11,470 piglets.

Alina Likhodievskaya, a pig farmer, takes care of babies better than others - from a month to four. Other workers of the pig farm are not far behind.
