September 21, MINSK . In the first half of this year, exports of food and agricultural raw materials to CHINA increased 1.2 times compared to the same period in 2022. We have an increase in foreign exchange earnings for poultry MEAT by 2.3 times, rapeseed oil by 7.7 times. This was reported byMinister of Agriculture and Food Sergei Bartosh in an interview.

“In the first half of the year , Belarus exported $3.6 billion worth of agricultural products and raw materials. The Russian Federation is the main strategic partner with a 73.9% share of EXPORT volumes. The turnover of food products and agricultural raw materials in the six months since the beginning of the year increased by 6.5%, in "Including exports increased by 7.5%," the minister noted, "mainly MILK and milk products (45.2%) and meat and meat products (16.6%)."

At the same time, supplies of other types of food are growing. Enterprises operate both under direct contracts and through distribution networks. Geography - 73 regions, but mainly the Central Federal and Northwestern districts, which is due to the high concentration of the commodity distribution network. Moscow and its region account for 54.5% of our exports to RUSSIA, St. Petersburg - 8.6%, Smolensk region - 6.5% and Kaliningrad region - 4.1%. Recently, shipments to Siberia, the Far Eastern and Ural districts, Altai, Primorsky, Stavropol, Trans-Baikal territories, Rostov, Murmansk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk regions have been growing.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food, in cooperation with the Belarusian Embassy in China and the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, continues to work to expand the list of accredited Belarusian manufacturers. In the first half of the year, 17 export registration numbers were received for 14 Belarusian enterprises.

In the customs system of the Single Window of the People's Republic of China (CIFER), the Chinese side issued 188 export registration numbers for 159 Belarusian enterprises, including 63 to dairy producers.

“As for joint projects, in July OJSC Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant and the Chinese Baimen Import and Export Trade Co., Ltd of Liaoning Province signed an agreement to create a joint venture for the production of dairy products in Shenyang by the end of the year,” said Sergei Bartosh.
