Two samples of dairy products, selected by specialists of the State Food and Consumer Service of the region in the course of carrying out state supervision measures at the food units of educational institutions in the Kropyvnytskyi district, were found to be falsified based on the results of laboratory tests.

In particular, in the course of a laboratory examination, a non-compliance with the requirements of regulatory documentation (iso 17678:2010) on the triglyceride composition of MILK fat was found, which indicates the presence of vegetable fats in the product instead of fats of animal origin.

We are talking about Krestyanskoye sweet cream butter with 73% fat produced by Viddi LLC, Khmelnitsky region, and packaged cottage cheese with 9% fat produced by Valkovsky Dairy Plant LLC, Kharkiv region.

Based on the results of laboratory tests, guided by paragraph 2 h. 4 Article. 11, art. 67 of the Law of Ukraine “On State Control over Compliance with Legislation on Food, Feed, Animal By-Products, Animal HEALTH and Welfare”, the Main Directorate of the State Food and Consumer Service in the Kirovohrad Region obliged business entities of educational institutions to withdraw these food products from circulation.

Currently, activities are underway to examine product suppliers in the Kirovograd region and manufacturers in the Khmelnytsky and Kharkov regions by the territorial departments of the State Food and Consumer Service.
