The State Food and Consumer Service and the Union of Dairy Enterprises will fight counterfeit

The State Food and Consumer Service and the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine have agreed to cooperate in identifying unsuitable and dangerous dairy products, as well as adulterated dairy products and counterfeit manufacturers through participation in the “Stop counterfeit” programs.

The corresponding intentions are recorded in the memorandum, which was signed by the chairman of the State Food and Consumer Service Vladislava Magaletska and the chairman of the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine Vadym Chagarovsky.

“Today we pay a lot of attention to the fight against counterfeiting, in particular, dairy products. it is important that profile associations are involved in this work, together we can be more effective,” said Vladislava Magaletska.

The purpose of the memorandum is to develop the dairy industry in Ukraine, promote and ensure the production and circulation of high-quality and safe dairy products, combat non-compliance of products with regulatory documents of the current legislation of Ukraine, as well as increase the competitiveness of domestic dairy products in the domestic and foreign markets.

A separate area of ​​work will be the development of proposals for improving legislative acts, acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, regulatory legal acts of ministries as part of permanent or temporary working groups, as well as the development of proposals for bringing legislation in the field of production, processing, sale, EXPORT and import of MILK, dairy raw materials and dairy products in accordance with the requirements of the directives of the European Union.
