There are few women - leaders in the country's agricultural sector, but they can give odds to the male approach in choosing the right managerial decisions. One of them is Anastasia Kuzmina, DIRECTOR of OAO Nestanovichi-Agro.

We met Anastasia Georgievna several years ago when she headed a small farm in the Logoisk district. Since 2021, he has been working at Nestanovichi-Agro OJSC in the Logoisk district of the MINSK region - a larger-scale enterprise, but with a trail of problems. Why?

- I knew it was mine. When I was a young leader, I was afraid to do something wrong, to make a mistake. Indeed, in agriculture, especially in animal husbandry, the results of the efforts expended can only be seen in a year, or even later ... With the experience gained, you understand where more control is needed, and where - to give specialists and workers the opportunity to show initiative and independence.

During the year, almost the entire team of specialists was replaced at Nestanovichi-Agro OJSC, the main ones being an agronomist, engineer, veterinarian, accountant, and economist. At the leading ITC - the Nestanovichi dairy complex, where at the time of Anastasia Kuzmina's arrival there was not a single veterinarian, so they had to resort to the services of the district veterinary station, two young veterinarian specialists appeared. The leader positively evaluates the work of the entire team: both the established team as a whole and the newcomers. One of the veterinarians is already sending to study - to receive a higher education in absentia.

- Very active youth came to us, - says Anastasia Georgievna. - I like it, I'm happy. Yes, you need to work with them, motivate, push. But our specialists, machine operators, livestock breeders get almost everything, because there is a desire to work in a team. Everyone understands their tasks, knows how to solve them, what we strive for, what goals we achieve.

On the eve of the new year 2023, the staff of Nestanovichi-Agro LLC looks to the future with optimism. - We know where to grow and at the expense of what, and we are making every effort to solve this problem! - summed up Anastasia Kuzmina.

Growth - doubled

With the advent of the new HEAD of JSC "Nestanovichi-Agro" noticeably added in crop production. This year, 8.2 thousand tons of grain were harvested, while in 2021 - 4.1 thousand tons, that is, a two-fold increase. We harvested more corn for grain. If in 2021 they collected 280 tons of it, then this year - already 1260 tons.

- We laid about 400 tons of fodder grain corn, the rest was sold, - says the manager. - Our herd is fully provided with feed, both coarse - silage and haylage, and concentrated, which allows us to ensure the sale of MILK and MEAT.

Emphasis - on new technologies

In animal husbandry, the main focus was on fodder. In particular, they changed the technology of conservation of haylage. We took a more careful approach to accelerating the timing of laying trenches - they did not stretch it out in time. We recently analyzed the feed, and we are satisfied with the results: their quality meets all requirements.

The volume and quality of feed have grown - the daily milk yield has become more. At the Nestanovichi dairy complex, it already approaches 17 liters. On the Beloe farm, however, it is lower: 12-13 liters per day. On the day of our arrival, the director of OAO "Nestanovichi-Agro" was just solving the problems of the Beloe farm.

- There are many worries, but we know what to do, how and when, - Anastasia Georgievna briefly explained the situation. - To increase milk yield, we are actively working with the herd.

For 11 months since the beginning of the year, the gross output of Nestanovichi-Agro OJSC increased by 172%. Milk production also increased by 150% during the same period. Only ITC "Nestanovichi" per day, the sale of milk exceeded 10 tons. A year ago, this MTK gave only 4 tons!

Why such growth? It's all about the right approaches to technology.

- For example, we launched new technologies for laying fodder, - Anastasia Kuzmina notes and clarifies: - To have a result and get something, you need to live with the concerns and problems of the enterprise, do not lose sight of the important, see all the problems and solve them.

prospects

Once this agricultural enterprise was created on the basis of four unpromising ones. Today, JSC "Nestanovichi-Agro" has 7.1 thousand hectares of agricultural land, of which 6 thousand are arable land.

Taking care of further development, the farm has started the construction of a new MTC, in the structure of which two buildings are planned for 350 head of a milking herd of cattle and a milking and milking block. Delivery - the end of 2023, and commissioning - January 2024.

“In order to fill the new complex with our heifers, we are actively working with heifers,” the director shares his plans. - Everything has been calculated: we plan to equip it by 100% in 2024.

The new ITC will be close to the Nestanovichi MTC, which is also awaiting partial reconstruction. Neighborhood will reduce the cost of logistics, will make it possible to concentrate specialists and livestock breeders in one place.

This year also passed under the sign of renewal. Current repairs of farms were carried out: roofs, walls were put in order, conveyors of the manure removal system were repaired. A new forage warehouse was built in the granary, having moved there an arch plant that stood on the outskirts.

The enterprise has a good machine and tractor park. Recently, it has been replenished with three MTZ-35 power tractors, two MTZ-82 tractors, a sprayer, a forage harvester, a train of trailed agricultural machinery: a 12-meter seeder, a 10-meter KSh-10 cultivator, and an attachment for harvesting corn.

Since JSC "Nestanovichi-Agro" is run by patriots of their country, the equipment was purchased by Belarusian production.
