January 19, Gomel. The shop for packing dry products was opened after reconstruction at the Oktyabrsky skimmed MILK powder plant, BelTA informs.

The company specializes in the production of butter and dry dairy products. The project to launch a new packaging line was implemented as part of import substitution. Technical re-equipment was carried out with the possibility of packaging dry products of 500 g.

Today the chairman of the Gomel regional executive committee visited the enterprise, got acquainted with the possibilities of the new line, met with the staff.

As specified at the enterprise, the plant has a significant EXPORT landmark. About 80% of products are exported with good margins. The portfolio of orders is formed by partners from Kazakhstan, RUSSIA, Georgia, Armenia, where they have already highly appreciated the quality of products. New directions are also being worked out, including the countries of South Africa, CHINA .

The raw material zone of the plant includes 8 agricultural enterprises in the region, plus raw materials come from the population, which has personal subsidiary farms in the Oktyabrsky district. Work is also underway to expand the resource zone, including in other areas.

Oktyabrsky skimmed milk powder plant has been operating since December 28, 1972. The company employs about 100 people. Its production capacity is 100 tons of processed milk per day with the production of 7.5 tons of skimmed milk powder, 5 tons of butter.
