January 21, MINSK. The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange is expanding its network of brokers in RUSSIA. This was reported to BelTA by the press service of the BUCE.

To increase exchange trade and increase the number of trading participants from Russia, the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange accredited a third broker in this country. it was Alor Asset Management, which has many years of experience in providing brokerage services in Russia and cooperates with such large trading platforms as the Moscow Exchange and the St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange. With the assistance of the new broker, BUCE expects to ensure a significant increase in clients from Russia, as well as expand the list of Belarusian products sold to the Russian market through exchange trading.

"Last year, a fairly wide range of goods was supplied to Russia. First of all, these are butter, MILK powder , oilseed processing products and cement. These positions accounted for about 80% of EXPORT sales. In addition, Russian participants regularly purchased semi-finished leather products through the exchange" wet blue", scrap metal, building materials and food products. Separately, it should be noted the start of sales of Belarusian-made feed additives in Russia - L-lysine sulfate, wheat gluten and premixes. This is a new promising area, which will be given priority in 2022. We expect that with the advent of a new broker, the exchange's activities in promoting domestic products on the Russian market will become even more efficient," the BUCE press service emphasized.

In addition, the press service reported that at the end of 2021, the Russian Federation retained its first place both in terms of the amount of exchange trade with Belarus and in the number of companies accredited to BUCE. At the same time, due to the implementation of a set of measures to attract potential buyers of Belarusian goods from the regions of Russia, as well as close cooperation with the Trade Representation of Russia in Belarus, the share of export transactions in the structure of mutual trade was significantly increased.

Currently, about 60 brokerage organizations are accredited to BUCE, including 16 non-residents from 10 countries.
