MINSK. Belarus increased food exports to Turkey by 4.8 times in the first half of the year, BelTA informs citing the official
TELEGRAM channel of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
The first meeting of the Belarusian-Turkish working group on agriculture was held via videoconference: the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries was discussed and steps were outlined to intensify
it.
"Turkey is an important trade and economic partner for Belarus," the report says. "In the first half of 2021, food exports to Turkey increased 4.8 times compared to the same period last year and amounted to $2.9 million."
Belarus is interested in further increasing the supply of high-quality food products to Turkey, primarily dairy products: butter, cheese, skimmed
MILK powder and whole milk powder, and in the future,
MEAT products (beef and poultry), produced in accordance with the requirements " Halal".
