A significant developed production potential has allowed it to ensure a high level of per capita production and consumption: Belarus is the leader in the EAEU in per capita production of meat and milk. than in RUSSIA and Kazakhstan. In terms of milk production per capita, it is 2.5 times ahead of Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Russia - more than 3 times,” said Igor Brylo.
According to EEC statistics, per capita production of milk resource in Belarus is 828 kg/person. (in Armenia ˗ 225 kg/person, Kazakhstan ˗ 317 kg/person, Kyrgyzstan ˗ 252 kg/person, Russia ˗ 214 kg/person), meat and meat products - 137 kg/person (in Armenia ˗ 36 kg/person). per person, Kazakhstan ˗ 62 kg/person, Kyrgyzstan ˗ 35 kg/person, Russia ˗ 77 kg/person).
"The ongoing sectoral policy for the development of competitive production of high-quality food products ensures the saturation of the domestic market.
