April 27, MINSK. Minister of Agriculture and Food Igor Brylo discussed issues of cooperation with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Belarus Batsukhin Bayarsaikhan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The parties discussed the further development of trade and economic relations between the countries. The agenda included the supply of Belarusian pedigree cattle and equipment for livestock farms in Mongolia, cooperation in the field of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, agricultural education, mutual participation in exhibitions and fairs and agro-industrial forums.

In 2021, the trade turnover of food products and agricultural raw materials with Mongolia amounted to $14.1 million (2.5 times more than in 2020). The main EXPORT positions were MILK and dairy products - 85.9%.

In January-February 2022, the trade turnover of food products and agricultural raw materials with Mongolia amounted to $4.8 million (an increase of 5.9 times compared to 2020).
