Deputy Director of FGBI "ARRIAH" presented the developed methods and vaccines at the international exhibition "Eurasia is our home"

As part of the exhibition, FGBI ARRIAH specialists present innovative developments in the field of veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance.

Deputy DIRECTOR Evgenia Romanenko, as part of the work of the Ministry of Agriculture’s stand, presents the methods developed by FGBI “ARRIAH” specialists:

- “Measurement technique. Qualitative and quantitative determination of pesticides in cereals, legumes and oilseeds by gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection”; FR.1.31.2022.42745 (MI 02-2022)

 - “Measurement technique. Qualitative and quantitative determination of pesticides in cereals, legumes and oilseeds by liquid chromatography with mass spectrometric detection.

To ensure the food security of the Russian Federation and remove barriers to the EXPORT of Russian grain, express methods are needed to simultaneously determine hundreds of pesticides in one sample. To solve this important task, the FGBI "ARRIAH" staff developed these methods in the shortest possible time. They are necessary for the rapid analysis of cereals, legumes and oilseeds for the residual content of pesticides for various purposes and chemical structures used in agriculture. FR.1.31.2022.42745 (MI 02-2022) includes data for the one-time determination of residues of 490 active ingredients and components of pesticide preparations, FR.1.31.2022.42668 (MI 01-2022) - 430 items.

The methods are based on the most modern, selective and accurate research methods and include most of the pesticides that are subject to strict control both on the part of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and grain importing countries.

In 2022, the methods passed metrological certification and were included in the register of certified methods of the FSIS Arshin.

Note that these methods are used to control grain in the laboratories of the Russian Federation. A discussion is underway in the Eurasian Economic Commission on their inclusion in the list of standards for the technical regulation of the Customs Union "On the safety of grain" (TR TS 015/2011).

Also, the Deputy Director of the FGBI ARRIAH presents a collection of patents for the invention of the FGBI ARRIAH, which contains information about all the inventions of the FGBI ARRIAH in the field of veterinary medicine over the past 20 years.

it should be noted that the exhibition presents vaccines produced by FGBI “ARRIAH”:

- "AviFluVac" - against highly pathogenic H5 avian influenza. The vaccine was developed for the implementation of anti-epizootic measures in RUSSIA and foreign countries and is intended for the prevention of influenza A subtype H5 in birds kept in poultry farms, in private farms and zoos in high-risk areas.

- "ARRIAH-VAK" - cultured inactivated emulsion vaccine against foot-and-mouth disease. The vaccine is intended for the prevention of immunization against foot -and-mouth disease in cattle , small cattle, camels, deer, yaks, pigs, caused by virus types A, O, C, Asia - 1, CAT-1, Sat-2, Sat-3.

- Kornivak-Cove is the world's first and only vaccine against covid-19 for pets.
