Halal products with certificates from the Russian Federation began arriving in the Middle East in December

“In October last year, we accredited the first halal certification body based on Roskachestvo, and in December there were real shipments of Russian products in the ports of these countries, for example, in the United Arab Emirates - 29 thousand tons of butter, in Saudi Arabia - confectionery products, 200 t,” said Nazariy Skrypnik.

He added that in 2024 , Rosakkreditatsiya plans to work on the adoption of Russian certificates of halal products in Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey.

The HEAD of the Russian Accreditation Service recalled that in 2023 an agreement was reached on the possibility of joint accreditation of halal certification bodies in RUSSIA with the Gulf countries. This means that certificates from the Russian authority will be accepted when exporting goods to these countries.
