The second batch of heifers arrived from Denmark to the new mega-farm of Luch JSC

375 thoroughbred heifers came to Luch JSC from Denmark. The animals that had come a long way were examined by a veterinarian . They were then comfortably quarantined.

Now specialists from the Amur Veterinary Administration will monitor the condition of young cows. The Amur Veterinary Administration clarified that in the near future heifers will be checked for various diseases and given all the necessary vaccinations.

Earlier Luch had already received 184 heifers from Denmark. Their quarantine is not over yet.

In total, due to the expansion of the farm, where a modern barn was recently completed, by the end of the year it is planned to import 1,220 animals: 200 heifers and 408 heifers from Denmark, as well as 612 heifers from Russian breeding farms.
