The Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Voronezh region fined 11 enterprises for violations in the production and sale of MEAT products. The total amount of penalties amounted to 531 thousand rubles. The press service of the department announced the results of inspections for the second quarter of 2022 on Monday, July 18.

Sanitary doctors punished organizations for violating storage conditions, product neighborhood rules, sanitizing equipment, personnel hygiene, selling without product safety documents and lacking complete information for the consumer about the product. In addition, specialists withdrew 13 consignments of goods with a total weight of 98 kg from circulation.

The experts also analyzed the meat in laboratories. In all 136 samples, neither GMOs nor antibiotics were found. Only six samples did not meet the requirements of hygienic standards in terms of physical and chemical parameters: the content of the mass fraction of protein, fat and nutritional value turned out to be underestimated. The department concluded that no falsification was detected in the first half of 2022.

At the end of June, ROSSELKHOZNADZOR specialists  discovered unacceptable enzymes in cottage cheese produced by a peasant farm (KFH) from the Novousmansky district of the Voronezh region. The products were found in Lipetsk at the cadet school No. 43 named after police major A.P. Kovrizhnykh.
