Between January and November this year, Brazil saw a 25.3% increase in poultry MEAT exports compared to the same period in 2020. The volume increased by 9%. Revenue increased due to the EXPORT of value-added products and due to the depreciation of the Brazilian currency against the DOLLAR or euro.

The Brazilian Animal Protein Producers Association (ABPA) says the country's exporters earned $6.944 billion in the first 11 months of 2021, up from $5.543 billion the previous year.

In terms of volumes, in the period from January to November 2021, the shipment of chicken meat amounted to 4.198 million tons, which is 9.08% more than in 2020 (3.849 million tons).

“Brazil is about to set a historical record for chicken meat exports and this strengthens Brazil's role as an important player in food security,” said ABPA President Ricardo Santin.

Among the main export destinations this year, Japan bought 403,500 tons, up 8.8% compared to the same period in 2020, as well as the United Arab Emirates (344,000 tons, or 26.4%), South Africa (268,800 tons or 13.3 percent). %), the European Union (178.7 thousand tons, or 14%) and the Philippines (154.8 thousand tons, or 158.7%).
