Valery Kholodov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Yaroslavl Region, last week checked the implementation of the investment project of JSC " Yaroslavl Broiler " for the cultivation of catfish and trout in the Rybinsk region.
Georgy Silin, General DIRECTOR of the enterprise, said that the volume of investments in the project is 700 million rubles. Upon reaching the design capacity, it is planned to produce up to 700 tons of fish per year with subsequent processing.
Deputy General Director Sergey Tereshchenko showed the site with 8 buildings on it, 7 of which are planned to be reconstructed for fish farms with RAS (4 - trout, 3 - catfish), 1 - for a commodity shop (warehousing). Further processing of fish products is planned. The production capacity of the processing shop is 2 tons/day.
- The fishing industry is actively developing in the Yaroslavl region and the launch of a modern enterprise for the cultivation of catfish and trout is an important step along this path. It is especially important that it employs specialists whom we train in our region, - said Valery Kholodov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Yaroslavl Region.
The chief fish farmer of the enterprise Anatoly Poznyakov explained that the Yaroslavsky Broiler company uses the best technological solutions of the European level. Particularly impressive are the filtration and feeding procedures. "Yaroslavl Broiler" is launching an enterprise that meets the most modern requirements .
The fish farmer of the enterprise, Alla Rybak, is a young specialist who graduated from the Poshekhonsky Agrarian Polytechnic College with a degree in Ichthyology and Fish Farming. The girl was one of the first 12 graduates of this specialty. The college became the first educational institution in the Yaroslavl region that trains specialists for the fishing industry. It teaches the following specialties: “Processor of aquatic biological resources”, “Ichthyology and fish farming” and the profession “Processor of fish and seafood.
Alla Rybak said that she really likes working at the enterprise and she is going to enter a distance learning university to study modern aquaculture technologies.
The launch of the first stage is scheduled for June 29, but, as Georgy Silin, General Director of the enterprise, said, negotiations have already been held and agreements have been reached on the sale of products to federal and regional networks.
