The output of finished feed for farm animals in Russia increased to 10.2 million tons

The main share of finished feeds is occupied by compound feeds. They account for 85% of the total production of finished feed for farm animals. According to the results of January-March of this year, the production of compound feed in the country increased by 4% year on year - up to 8.7 million tons. The output of compound feed for cattle increased by 11% to 767 thousand tons, compound feed for pigs - by 6% (up to 3.7 million tons), compound feed for poultry - by 2% (up to 4.2 million tons).

In the production of premixes, there is a decrease in output by 1% in annual terms. In total, according to the results of the first 3 months, 128 thousand tons of premixes were produced. At the same time, the volume of production of protein-vitamin-mineral concentrates increased by 29% - up to 40 thousand tons. The output of amido-vitamin-mineral concentrates increased from 28 tons to 894 tons. The production of concentrates and mixtures decreased by 6% and amounted to 290 thousand tons.
