According to the results of the studies, in 1 sample, a non-compliance with regulatory requirements was revealed, namely, the antibiotic ofloxacin was found in ground beef from a Yakut manufacturer. The products were intended for catering for pupils of a preschool institution in the Ust-Aldan region.

For reference: ofloxacin is a quinolone antibiotic used to treat a number of bacterial infections. When eating foods with quinolones, a person may experience nausea, indigestion and, in general, inhibition of the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract, which, in turn, can lead to bacterial and fungal infections.

At the end of May this year, the Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Amur Region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) conducted an unscheduled on-site inspection, agreed with the prosecutor's office, in relation to a manufacturer operating in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for the production of semi-finished products.

On this fact, during an unscheduled on-site inspection, it was established that procedures based on the principles of HACCP are not supported at the production facility, production facilities, technological equipment and inventory that are used in the production of food products and for the storage of slaughter products and MEAT products are not properly maintained. In addition, traceability of products is not ensured, in particular, when registering veterinary and accompanying documents in the FSIS "Mercury".

The Rosselkhoznadzor Office initiated an administrative case against a legal entity under Part 1 of Art. 14.43 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation with the imposition of a fine in the amount of 20,000 rubles.

An order was issued to eliminate the identified violations, as well as a decision to invalidate the declaration of conformity for livestock products.
