Monitoring is underway at the FSIS "Mercury" to identify the receipt of pig products from disadvantaged regions on the territory of the republic.

In addition, together with law enforcement agencies, work is being carried out to identify and suppress the unauthorized movement of live animals, products and raw materials by all modes of transport, including those that have not undergone industrial or heat treatment.

In total, since the beginning of this year, about 2 thousand tons of pig products, more than 300 vehicles in Yakutia have been inspected.

As part of the monitoring studies of the Irkutsk Interregional Veterinary Laboratory, 50 samples of pathological and biological materials from domestic pigs were examined for the African swine fever virus . In all cases, no positive results were found.

it should be noted that in mid-May, information was received from the Primorsky Interregional Department of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR that a case of African swine fever ( ASF ) was detected on the territory of the pig farm in the village of Mikhailovka. 

Currently, a complex of organizational, economic and veterinary and sanitary measures is being carried out in accordance with the Veterinary Rules for the implementation of preventive, diagnostic, restrictive and other measures, the establishment and lifting of quarantine and other restrictions aimed at preventing the spread and elimination of foci of African swine fever.
