In Khabarovsk, due to the all-Russian increase in MEAT prices, sausages and semi-finished products are expected to rise in price. Kirill Koshakin, DIRECTOR of one of the largest regional producers, Trading Company Myasnoye Delo, told about this.

Earlier, the federal publication Izvestia stated that more than a dozen well-known Russian meat processing plants had warned about raising prices for their products. Price fluctuations are trying with all their might to restrain retail - retail companies, thanks to which the final product reaches the consumer.

- The increase in the cost of various types of sausage and meat products since the beginning of the year ranges from 5 to 20%, - says Sergey Dudnik, General Director of the Ambar retail chain. – To cope with the problem, we have to switch to the purchase of more budget options coming from different manufacturers. Moreover, since the meat is stored for a very short time, about half of the products come to the shelves from the Far Eastern farms.

The correspondent of the news agency checked the outlets where there is an active sale of meat products: the wholesale market "Mnogoryadov", the central food market and popular hypermarkets. Most merchants claim that the rise in prices has already passed, and no changes in price tags are expected in the near future.

- Meat of all kinds has risen in price by several tens of rubles about a week and a half ago, - says one of the sellers of the butcher shop of the wholesale market "Mnogoryadov". - Especially jumped the price of pork - 70 rubles. The fact is that the largest farms suffered heavy losses due to swine flu, the livestock was killed, it takes time to build up a new one.

As a result, now pork is in the range of 300 - 410 rubles / kg, chicken - 180 - 310 rubles / kg, lamb - 390 - 500 rubles / kg, beef - 460 - 520 rubles / kg. When monitoring sausages, we paid attention to the most popular types: boiled "Doctor" and smoked "Krakow". They cost 364 - 439 rubles / kg and 444 - 567 rubles / kg, respectively.

In local hypermarkets, pork is offered cheaper - at least 250 rubles / kg, beef - from 680 rubles / kg, chicken - from 179 rubles / kg. "Doctor" can be found on the shelves at a price above 470 rubles / kg, "Krakow" - 500 - 650 rubles / kg.

In the Central Market, prices are slightly different. Pork costs between 300 - 450 rubles / kg, domestic chicken - 500 rubles / kg, beef - 350 - 500 rubles / kg, lamb - 600 rubles / kg, veal - 400 rubles / kg. Boiled sausage "Doctor" - from 461 rubles / kg, "Krakowska" - from 580 rubles / kg.
