In the Volgograd region, the court ordered the owner of farm animals to eliminate violations of veterinary rules

The owner of cattle for a long time, in violation of veterinary rules, voluntarily refused to carry out mandatory veterinary preventive measures, which could lead to an outbreak of especially dangerous diseases, including those common to humans and animals, such as brucellosis and tuberculosis.

The Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR took preventive measures against the owner of the animals (a warning was announced), but they did not bring a positive result.

The factors of transmission of the brucellosis pathogen to humans are diverse. The risk groups for infection and disease with brucellosis include owners of farm animals, people involved in caring for animals, as well as people who consume food products obtained from animals infected with brucellosis (raw MILK, fermented milk products ) . Prevention of brucellosis includes a set of veterinary and sanitary measures, the purpose of which is to eliminate infection among farm animals and prevent diseases among the population.

In view of the above, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor, in order to suppress the unlawful actions of the owner of the animals, filed a lawsuit with a claim for compulsion to eliminate violations of veterinary rules.

By a COURT decision in April 2023, the claims of the Rosselkhoznadzor Office were satisfied in full. The court ordered the owner of the animals to provide state veterinarians with the entire number of cattle for blood sampling for testing for brucellosis.

At present, the Rosselkhoznadzor Department has received a court decision, which has entered into force, in connection with which the writ of execution has been sent to the bailiff service to enforce the judicial act.

Epizootic well-being in the assigned territory is under constant control of the leadership of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions and the Republic of Kalmykia.
