In agricultural organizations that are not small businesses, MILK yield per cow for the period from January to July 2025 was 6,309 kilograms, which is slightly higher than in the same period in 2024 - 6,177 kilograms. At the moment, the egg production of laying hens reaches 170 pieces, which is 12 eggs less than last year. Also, the region recorded a significant decrease in the number of sheep and goats by 79.8%, while the number of cattle and pigs increased by 0.1% and 7.4%, respectively. As of now, there are about 141 thousand heads of cattle and more than 370 thousand pigs in the region, and eggs remain the cheapest commodity since the beginning of the year.
