More than 43 thousand tons of livestock products and feed were controlled in the Tomsk region during domestic rail transportation

So, sunflower meal, soybean meal, fish meal and feed additives in the amount of 4,400 tons, as well as 22 tons of dairy products from the Leningrad region were imported into the territory of the Tomsk region from the Kaliningrad and Irkutsk regions, Primorsky and Altai territories . 

In turn, 4,977 tons of feed for pigs were exported from the territory of the Tomsk region to the consignees from the Kemerovo region and the Republic of Buryatia.

Thus, since the beginning of 2023, for domestic rail transportation, the volumes of import and EXPORT of agricultural products monitored by ROSSELKHOZNADZOR specialists amounted to 23,166 tons and 20,489 tons, respectively. These are feed, feed additives, dairy products and frozen fish.

The agency notes that the movement of goods was carried out in accordance with the conditions of regionalization. Violations of the rules of rail transportation, as well as veterinary legislation, were not identified.
