Brucellosis quarantined in the Suzunsky district of the Novosibirsk region

Eight animals with a positive reaction to brucellosis were kept in a peasant farm with a total livestock of 466 units (284 adults and 182 calves). Another five received questionable results. Infected young animals at the age of 12 months were purchased in May-June in the Altai Territory.

Quarantine has been introduced on the territory of the Shipunovsky village council . Veterinary services carry out preventive and recreational activities in the risk zone. The owner of the farm was recommended to send all the livestock for slaughter.
