More than 400 positive results of veterinary tests were received in the Saratov Testing Laboratory

Including within the framework of the state epizootological monitoring, two positive results were revealed in the study of dead bees. In honey insects, parasitic diseases have been found - nosematosis and varroatosis.

Samples were received from the Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Saratov and Samara regions. A low degree of damage to bee colonies by the disease was determined. With this indicator, quarantine in bee apiaries is not introduced. In order to combat the disease, they are limited to treatment, processing of hives and equipment, as well as a number of organizational and economic measures.

According to the results of studies conducted at the request of agricultural producers - owners of livestock of farm animals, laboratory specialists received 436 positive results in 222 samples.

In 114 blood samples of cattle, antibodies to the causative agent of brucellosis were found.

Bacteria causing mastitis were found in 3 samples of cow's MILK. Microbiological studies were carried out in accordance with the guidelines for the diagnosis of the disease.

In the study of processed livestock by-products received from pig-breeding enterprises in the region, 10 samples of organic fertilizers found a 100-fold and 3 samples - a 10-fold excess of the BGKP index (bacteria of the Escherichia coli group). Relevant information was sent to customers to ensure the safety of organic fertilizers.

As part of their own production control of poultry farms, samples of pathological material from agricultural poultry were received for research.

According to the results of the tests, specialists found mycoplasmosis in two samples of pathological material from a turkey.

In day old chickens, the causative agent of colibacillosis was isolated (in 17 samples). Enterobacteria from the genus Proteus - P. vulgaris were isolated in five samples. In one sample, the growth of mold fungi from the genus Aspergillus - A. niger was found. Test reports were sent to customers.

In addition, using the PCR method, the veterinary specialists of the laboratory diagnosed infectious diseases in domestic dogs and cats (mycoplasmosis and panleukopenia).
